What a lovely, clean, safe place to stay! We spent one night here in a spot backed up to the river, complete with a table, chairs, and two loungers. The view was stunning! Check-in was easy—we were personally shown to our site by a kind and friendly co-owner. I took a quiet, early-morning walk around the park and felt completely safe. Everything was spotless. Despite being full, there was no clutter anywhere, and no signs of bugs or critters. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well-stocked—with full-length mirrors, combination locks, and plenty of soap and towels. The water pressure was great and there was plenty of hot water, which is a real treat while camping. We’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family and stay again if we’re back in the area.

We stayed at River West for a month while welcoming our newest grandchild, and it was everything we needed and more! The new riverside patio with string lights was a lovely touch, and the staff was incredibly attentive—any issues were handled right away. The park is clean, centrally located, and perfect for walking, with easy river access and trails nearby. We’re already looking forward to staying again!

We stayed two nights—birthday weekend—in the Tanzanite unit, which has the best view and access to the river of all the cottages. The place and grounds were very clean and well-maintained. It felt secure, with a coded gate and front door. The kitchen was well equipped, including a coffee maker with filters. The beds were very comfortable. The rear deck was spacious and had a fantastic view of the Truckee River. There are several great restaurants nearby—Gloria’s for breakfast and Mi Casa Too for dinner, both nights. Highly recommend!

Convenient location (smack dab in the city), clean restrooms and showers, right on the Truckee River with beautiful outdoor seating for relaxing. The owners are friendly, and the laundry machines are inexpensive. We stayed five nights this trip and will definitely return next time we pass through Reno.

We rented the Tanzanite Cottage for a day-long corporate meeting, and it was perfect for our small team of four. So much more comfortable than a typical windowless conference room. The staff was super friendly. We were really looking forward to using the outside deck space, but unfortunately, Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. Even so, we’re already planning to book another meeting here. Highly recommend!
